Extreme H and MBC Group Renew Multi-Year Agreement for FIA Extreme H World Cup

London, UK, 18 January 2026: Extreme H is pleased to announce an extension of its broadcast partnership with MBC Group, the Middle East and North Africa’s (MENA) leading media company. This renewed two-year agreement builds on the initial collaboration to ensure that the cutting-edge action of the world’s first hydrogen-powered motorsport remains accessible to millions of households across the region.
Following the immense global success of the inaugural FIA Extreme H World Cup held in Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia, which saw local favourites Jameel Motorsport crowned as the historic champions, the race is preparing for its second iteration.
The extended partnership highlights a deep, mutual commitment between Extreme H and MBC Group to deliver innovative and impactful sports to the MENA region. By bringing action-packed, hydrogen-powered racing to MBC’s extensive audience, both organisations aim to inspire a new generation of fans through a sporting format defined by its multi-discipline excitement and commitment to gender equality.
The agreement ensures that all FIA Extreme H World Cup programming, including live race coverage, highlight packages, and behind-the-scenes features, will continue to be broadcast across the MENA region in English and Arabic.
Ali Russell, Managing Director of Extreme H, said: “MBC is a powerhouse broadcaster in the region and we are delighted to extend our partnership with them following the incredible success of our debut event. This renewed commitment ensures fans across the Middle East and North Africa can continue to enjoy every moment of the FIA Extreme H World Cup in their own language, as it continues to pioneer the future of hydrogen-powered motorsport.”
Ashraf Younis, Director of MBC3 and MBC Action, said: “Our extended partnership with Extreme H reflects MBC’s commitment to leading the future of sports entertainment in our region. Together, we’re bringing audiences a pioneering motorsport that combines innovation, sustainability, and world‑class competition, delivering a viewing experience that is as inspiring as it is electrifying.”
The 2026 FIA Extreme H World Cup will continue to enable the accelerated development of hydrogen technologies and give a platform for both males and females to showcase their talents as equal competitors, whilst reaching millions of fans through a global broadcast footprint.
