Norwegian drivers Ole Christian Veiby and Hedda Hosås will form the lineup for Team EVEN, bringing youthful energy, ambition and raw pace in the global stage. Both drivers have impressed in international competition and now step into a landmark moment as Extreme E transitions into Extreme H.

Veiby has 50 World Rally Championship starts to his name, with two victories in the WRC2 class, and made a full transition to World Rallycross in 2022 after making a trio of starts across 2014 and 2015. He's gone on to become one of the series' most competitive drivers with three victories and another 17 podiums to his name.

Ole Christian Veiby, driver for Team EVEN said: "I’m always excited to take on something new, and Extreme E and Extreme H feel like a natural fit for my rallying background. I’ve experienced driver changes in endurance racing and had to make quick fixes in rallying, so I feel well prepared for the challenges ahead. Teaming up with Hedda is a real advantage too, she’s already tested the Extreme H car and brings valuable insight. It’s also special to line up as a fully Norwegian team.

“Competing in Saudi Arabia for the first time will be a new experience for me, but I’m confident the terrain will suit us well, and with such a talented crew supporting both programmes, I believe we can make a strong impact right from the start."

Hosås, meanwhile, is a rising star in the off-road scene, and took a podium finish in just her second Extreme E start at the Island X Prix in Season 2. More recently she has competed in Baja rallies in Europe, and served as one of the key test and development drivers for Extreme H's Pioneer 25 race car.

Hedda Hosås, driver for Team EVEN, said: “Racing with Hydrogen and the new car is a big step forward, both for performance and sustainability. It’s exciting to be part of something that points towards the future of motorsport. I have been a part of the testing program since the start, so I’m really excited!

“I’m really proud to be a part of KMS Team Even. The main goal is to fight for the top positions, while also learning as much as possible in such a great time with the KMS team. Really excited to team up with Ole Christian Veiby as he has a lot of experience too.”

James Taylor, Chief Championship Officer, Extreme E and Extreme H, said: "Team EVEN’s entry is another fantastic step as we prepare to go racing. KMS has already proven itself as one of the most successful and forward-thinking outfits in global motorsport, and to see them expand with a second entry dedicated to developing Nordic talent is hugely exciting.

“Ole Christian and Hedda bring a blend of experience, pace and potential that captures exactly what Extreme E and Extreme H are about – showcasing world-class competition while giving the next generation a platform to shine. Their arrival underlines the momentum behind both events and adds another layer of intrigue to what promises to be an historic week in Qiddiya."

Action will begin with a ‘final lap’ Extreme E race taking place from Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th October 2025, providing an official farewell to the previous championship, before the official start of Extreme H on Thursday 9th through to Saturday 11th October 2025.

Qiddiya City is the world’s first city built entirely for play, where entertainment, sport, and culture converge. The race will take place with the dramatic backdrop of the Tuwaiq Mountains, close to the site which is currently undergoing transformation to become a world-leading motorsport venue.

The FIA Extreme H World Cup will make history as the first international race event to use hydrogen-powered vehicles. Marking a new future for motorsport, defined by cutting-edge technology and bold ambition.

Further details on the event will be revealed over the coming days as the event countdown continues at pace.
